Mark Yeates is a winger of Bradford City. He was born on 11 January 1985 in Tallaght, Ireland.
Mark’s professional career took off in Tottenham, which offered the footballer to pen his first senior contract. Yeates did not manage to adapt to ‘Spurs’ lifestyle and clinch a place in the main squad, which entailed his loan move to Brighton and Hove Albion in 2003. The winger made nine appearances for the team and sealed a temporary deal with Swindon Town. From 2005 till 2007, Mark performed for Colchester United, Hull City and Leicester City and took part in 58 games, but the most fruitful loan spell for the footballer was at Colchester, because he netted five goals in 44 matches and impressed the head coach.
In 2007, ‘The U’s’ secured Yeates’s services on a permanent two-year deal. From 2007 till 2009, the winger demonstrated his imperious form and amassed 20 goals in 72 fixtures for Colchester United.
In the summer 2009, the winger transferred to Middlesbrough, but spent only a part of the season with the new team and fired one goal in 19 games. In 2010, Mark put pen to paper of a two-year contract with Sheffield United and found the net seven times in 55 matches before finalizing a move to Watford. The footballer made 62 appearances and scored seven goals for ‘The Hornets’ before moving to Bradford City in 2013.
