Marko Dević is a Ukrainian football player, who was born on 27 October 1983 in Belgrade, Serbia. He is the best scorer of the Ukrainian championship of 2007/08 season.
From 2000 to 2006 Marko played for Belgrade clubs Zvezdara, Voždovac, Železnik, as well as for Volyn Lutsk and Radnički Beograd. Marko became bronze medalist of Serbia and Montenegro in 2004.
In 2006 Marko Dević moved to Ukraine and joined a Ukrainian Premier League side Metalist Kharkiv. For 6 seasons at Metalist Marko made a total of 148 appearances and scored an impressive 64 goals.
In the summer of 2008 Dević received Ukrainian citizenship. In November of that same year Marko was called up to the national team of Ukraine for a friendly against Norway. In February 2011 the Serbian striker scored his first goal for Ukraine in a match against Sweden.
In 2012 Marko Dević joined Shakhtar Donetsk on a 4-year deal worth £4.4 million. As part of Shakhtar Donetsk, the Serbian striker became the Ukrainian Super Cup winner in 2012.
However, in 2013 the forward returned to his former club Metalist and scored 19 goals in 26 matches.
In February 2014 Devic moved to a Russian side Rubin Kazan.
