Martin Bergvold is footballer from Denmark, playing for Esbjerg fB as a midfielder. He was born in 1984 in Copenhagen. He spent his youth playing career at Rødovre Boldklub and Avarta and in 2001 joined the reserve team of F.C. Copenhagen, Kjøbenhavns Boldklub. Bergvold made his first team debut in December 2002. He played for Copenhagen till 2007. During his long-term stay with Copenhagen the team won four Superliga titles.
In January 2007, he moved to Italy where he joined A.S. Livorno Calcio and by the end of the season the team faced relegation. In the 2008/09 season Bergvold helped Livorno to get promotion and made 30 appearances in Serie B that season. In total he made 66 appearances for the Italian team and scored six goals. In 2010 he returned to Copenhagen where he stayed until 2012 with a short loan-spell at Lyngby. In 2012, he completed a move to Esbjerg fB.
Martin Bergvold represented Denmark at all youth levels and being a part of the U17 team he was called the Danish Under-17 Player of the Year in 2000.
