A Macedonian footballer Martin Bogatinov plays as a goalkeeper for Karpaty Lviv. He was born on 26 April 1986 in Kratovo. He’s also the member of the Macedonia national squad.
Martin’s professional career started in 2005, when he signed for Sileks from the First Macedonian Football League. Bogatinov represented the team during two years, featuring in 33 fixtures.
In the summer 2007, Martin opted to join Cementarnica 55, where he spent half a year, making 12 appearances. The next two seasons turned to be not very fortunate for the goalkeeper. At first he moved to Vardar and in a year he joined Teteks, but didn’t settle at any of the clubs, being used irregularly.
In the summer 2009, a deal with Rabotnički was comleted. On 23 July 2009, Martin took part in the 2009 UEFA winning match against Crusaders. In the 2009/10 season the club took the second place in the First Macedonian Football League.
In the summer 2010, Bogatinov took part in the Europa League qualifying phase. Rabotnički was eliminated from the competition in the third qualifying round, after the team was defeated by Liverpool. In 2010, Martin was honored with the Macedonian Cup.
In January 2011, it was announced that Martin Bogatinov became a player of Karpaty Lviv. He debuted in the Ukrainian Persha Liha on 6 March 2011 in a game against Arsenal. The results of the 2010/11 season made it possible for Karpaty to take part in the UEFA Europa League.
On 17 November 2010, Martin made his first appearance for the Macedonia national team. His second appearance for the national squad happened on 22 December 2010 in a match against China.
