A Dutch footballer Marvin Zeegelaar is a striker for Elazığspor. He was born on 12 August 1990 in Amsterdam.
Marvin started his junior career at Volendam, but very soon he was noticed by Ajax, one of the top squads in Holland throughout time. The striker was picked up by the club in 2006. Zeegelaar’s debut match for the senior squad was a match with Volendam in KNVB Beker, which took place on 12 November 2008. Marvin came on the field as a substitute for Siem de Jong. In 2009, the player was promoted to the professional level. He made 4 appearances for the first squad during the spell.
In 2011, Zeegelaar served a year-long loan at Excelsior making 12 appearances for the temporary squad. In 2011, Marvin was bought out by Espanyol to defend “B” team. The contract for a term of the following four years was signed in the summer 2011. Nevertheless, in 2012, Zeegelaar was hired by the Turkish club Elazığspor. Having made only thirteen appearances for the side, Zeengelaar was loaned to Blackpool.
