A Polish footballer Mateusz Klich acts as a midfielder for PEC Zwolle on loan from VfL Wolfsburg. Mateusz was born on 13 June 1990 in Tarnów.
Klich effectively started his career at Cracovia. From 2006 to 2008 he performed for the club’s junior side. In 2008, Mateusz graduated to the top team. The midfielder gradually became the fixture in the starting line-up. He stayed at Cracovia until 2011, netting five goals in 56 matches.
In the summer 2011, Klich was hired by VfL Wolfsburg. The contract was signed for a fee of €1,5 million. Mateusz appeared 12 times for the squad and was loaned out by PEC Zwolle.
From 2008 to 2011, Mateusz represented the Poland national youth team at U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels. His international debut for the full side took place on 5 June 2011 in a match with Argentina.
