Mateusz Prus is a goalkeeper of Roda JC. He was born on 9 March 1990 in Zamość, Poland.
Mateusz’s career took off in the academy of small local AMSPN Hetman Zamość, where the footballer trained during one year before completing a move to Amica Wronki. However, two years later, Prus returned to Hetman and sealed a senior two-year deal with the club. The keeper made 28 appearances for the main team during his spell and joined Zagłębie Sosnowiec, where he took part in 11 fixtures during six months.
At the beginning of the summer 2010, Mateusz penned a four-year deal with Dutch side Roda JC and made his début for the new club on 6 February 2011 in the away 1-0 loss to Heracles Almelo. The keeper featured in 16 games for Roda JC as of November 2012.
On 9 June 2010, Prus was called up to the Poland national U-21 squad for the friendly against Luxembourg, which ended in a 1-0 loss. The footballer came on the pitch as a substitute for first-choice keeper Wojciech Małecki.
