Matías Campos Toro is a football player from Chile, born in 1989 in Santiago. He came through the youth system of Audax Italiano and then was promoted to the first team, where he played for six years between 2005 and 2011. In 2006 Audax Italiano was the Clausura runner-up.
In 2012 Matías Campos moved to Granada, but without making a single appearance he was sent on loan to Universidad Católica for the second half of a season and in August 2012 he moved to Siena. In the 2013 winter transfer window in Matías Campos Toro joined Udinese. His debut there came on 10 February in a 1-0 win against Torino.
Loan spells with Hercules and Granada followed.
He was called to represent the Chile national U20 team and since 2011 he’s been a part of the senior team. He made his debut for the Chile national team on 11 November in the World Cup qualifier against Uruguay. On 7 Septmber Matías Campos netted his first goal for the team in the match against Paraguay.
