In 2006, Delgado switched to the Turkish side Beşiktaş and recorded 25 goals in 109 Süper Lig matches for the club in the course of four years. He helped them to win the Turkish Super League title in the 2008/09 season, as well as two Turkish Cups and the Super Cup.
Since 2010, Matías Delgado is part of Al Jazira squad. He was an instrumental player during the 2010/11 UAE Pro-League helping his Emirati team to become champions. The Argentine has also won two consecutive UAE President's Cups together with the club.
