Matías Suárez. Biography

Matías Ezequiel Suárez is an Anderlecht forward. He was born on 9 May 1988 in Cordoba, Argentina.

Matías was fostered in the Union San Vicente academy. In 2005 Suárez began his pro career signing a contract with Belgrano. In the 2007/2008 season he became the team’s top scorer in National B Division.

Despite the suasion of supporters not to leave the football club, Matías penned a contract with RSC Anderlecht in May 2008.

Besides, the Argentine was crowned Top Goalscorer of Anderlecht and Belgium in the 2011/12 season and Player of the Year 2011.
