Matthew Parsons is a defender, born on 25 December 1991 in Catford, England.
Matthew spent his youth career in the academy of Crystal Palace, where he learned football in all its minutest details and trained hard to get ready for a professional start as soon as possible. The player managed to develop his best qualities and give the final touch to all the preparations for a senior level by 2010, when he penned his first contract with ‘The Glaziers’. In 2011, Parsons went on loan to Barnet and made eight appearances for the club during his spell. In 2012, the defender sealed a temporary deal with Wycombe Wanderers and featured in four matches for the team before returning to his parent Crystal Palace, where he took his tally to six games.
In January 2014 Parsons moved to Plymouth Argyle.
