Mattia Perin is a footballer from Italy, born in 1990. His spent his youth playing career with Pro Cisterna, Pistoiese and in 2008 he joined the academy of Genoa. He graduated from the academy and in 2010 joined the senior squad as the third-choice keeper. Mattia Perin made his debuted for the first team on 22 May 2011 in a 3-2 victory over Cesena.
In July 2011 he was sent to Padova, playing in Serie B. His debut was on 1 October 2011 in a 4-2 win against Empoli. Perin was sent to Pescara on a loan deal in the summer of 2012.
He’s been called up to represent the Italy national team at different levels. He was used as the first-choice in the 2009 European U-17 Championship and the 2009 U-17 World Cup. He earned two caps for Italy U20 team and three for Italy U21. On 15 August 2012 Perin debuted for the Italian senior team in the match against England.
