Fehmi Mert Günok is a Turkish professional footballer playing as a goalkeeper for Fenerbahçe. He was born on March 1, 1989 in Karabük, Turkey. He started playing football in his childhood and was the participant of local and regional football tournaments. The young footballer played for U16, U17, U18 and U19 football teams. Over that period the goalkeeper managed to take part in 35 matches.
The first youth club Mert Günok played for was Fenerbahçe. On August 15, 2010 the footballer made his debut in the Süper Lig. It was a match against Antalyaspor and the goalkeeper managed to keep a clean sheet. It was a 4-0 victory of his team. From 2008 Mert Günok’s jersey number is 34. In the season of 2010/2011 he was only the third-choice goalkeeper behind his teammates Volkan Demirel and Volkan Babacan.
Internationally the footballer played for his national team on May 24, 2012, when he came in for Cenk Gönen on the 62nd minute in a friendly against Georgia.
