Michael Bradley is an American footballer, born on 31 July 1987 in Princeton, USA.
Michael began his professional career with MetroStars in 2004 and then moved to the Dutch Heerenveen. But his career really took off after he joined the German side Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2008. Bradley scored his maiden Bundesliga goal in November 2008 when he netted the 81st minute equalizing header in a 2-2 draw with the German heavyweight Bayern Munich. In 2011, American player had a short loan spell at Aston Villa and then joined Italian Chievo Verona from Serie A. In the summer 2012, Bradley moved to Roma. He marked his debut as a starter for Roma with a last-gasp equalizer in a 2-2 draw with Catania. Having made 41 appearances for the Italian side, Bradley returned to North America and joined Toronto FC at the beginning of 2014.
A highly promising American international, Michael Bradley made his national team debut during the 2006 World Cup. In 2007, he helped his team to win the CONCACAF Gold Cup trophy. He captained the America national team in August 2010.
