Michael Hector is a defender of Reading. He was born on 19 July 1992 in East Ham, England.
After his one-year training in Reading academy ended in 2010, Michael penned a professional contract with the club and moved to the main team. However, he did not stay there for long, as the management decided to send him on a six-month loan to Bracknell Town at the beginning of 2009. The footballer made three appearances for the temporary team and went on another loan, this time to Didcot Town.
In January 2010, Hector completed a loan move to Havant & Waterlooville, where he made only one appearance during his short spell. The same year Michael became a temporary player of Oxford City, where he featured only in a couple of matches before joining Horsham on a six-month loan deal. The footballer managed to take part in 11 games and find the net one time for the new temporary club before first going on loan to Dundalk (11 matches and two goals), then to Barnet (27 games and two goals), Shrewsbury Town, which welcomed the footballer on a six-month deal in the summer 2012, Aldershot United, Cheltenham Town and Aberdeen in 2013.
