Michael Jacobs is a midfielder, born on 4 November 1991 in Rothwell, England.
From 2007 till 2009, Michael trained in the academy of Northampton Town, where he perfected his skills and developed into a full-grown footballer, who was ready to make a professional start.
In 2009, Jacobs penned a senior three-year contract with the club. In 2010, the midfielder went on loan to Nuneaton Town and made four appearances for the temporary team. After the end of his spell, Michael returned to his parent Northampton and began to come on the field in the starting line-up. The footballer took part in 87 fixtures and netted 11 goals for the club till the summer 2012, when he completed a move to Derby County. A year and a half later Jacobs completed a permanenbt move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
