Michael Krohn-Dehli was born in 1983 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Currently he plays for a Spanish side Celta de Viga as a midfielder.
He spent his youth playing career at such clubs as at Rosenhøj BK in Denmark, Hvidovre IF, Brøndby IF and Ajax. After leaving the latest one he went on his senior career at RKC Waalwijk, with whom he made his professional debut in a goalless draw against FC Groningen in August 2004. In 2006 Krohn-Dehli returned back to his former club Ajax and in January 2007 he was loaned to Sparta Rotterdam.
By the end of August 2008 the Dane joined Brøndby IF and made his first appearance for a new team two days later, in a match against FC Copenhagen. Krohn-Dehli played for the club until August 2012, when he signed for Celta.
Michael Krohn-Dehli made his first appearance for the Denmark national football team in a qualification match for Euro 2008 that was a game against Liechtenstein in October 2006.
