Michael Morton is a footballer from South Africa, born in 1989 in Johannesburg. He currently plays for Maritzburg United as defensive midfielder.

Morton came through the youth ranks of Old Parks, Randburg AFC and Orlando Pirates. With the latest one he stayed from 2002 to 2008 and then joined the senior squad. In 2009 the footballer was sent on loan to Bidvest Wits and stayed there until 2011, before his move to Maritzburg United. For Bidvest Wits Michael Morton made 34 appearances.
