Miguel Alfonso Herrero Javaloyas plays for Valencia as an attacking midfielder. He was born in 1988 in Burjassot, Spain. He spent his youth playing career at local Burjassot CF and then played for the team during a season.
In 2007, he switched to Valencia CF reserves and when Rubén Baraja, Edu and Manuel Fernandes suffered injuries Míchel made his La Liga debut in a 0-4 loss against FC Barcelona, when he played 20 minutes in December 2008. Since his first start in March 2009 he appeared in La Liga regularly though in 2010 Míchel was sent on loan to Deportivo de La Coruña, where he didn’t play a lot due to an injury. The 2011/12 season Míchel played for Hércules Cf on loan and after that he joined Levante UD.
In 2013 the player returned to his former club Valencia.
