Dutch footballer Michel Vorm was born on 20 October 1983 in Utrecht.
His career took off in the local club of his native city. Soon the Michel was noticed by Utrecht scouts and signed for the new team. However, he did not become a player of the main team and was sent on loan to Den Bosch in 2005. After a successful season in the temporary team, Vorm returned to his parent Utrecht and clinched the place of a first-choice goalkeeper in the 2006/2007 season.
On 7 August 2011, Michel penned a contract with a Welsh side Swansea City and became a first-choice keeper at the club. In the summer 2014 Vorm moved to Tottenham Hotspur.
From 2006 the footballer was capped for the Netherlands national youth team and made his début for the senior national squad in 2008.
