Miguel Ángel Moyà Rumbo is a Spanish goalkeeper.
His career started at Mallorca youth ranks. There he continued his football education until he got a possibility to play for the main squad in 2004.
During that season he managed to take the pitch 32 times. However, he did not meet much success afterwards.
Starting from 2007 the injury-prone goalie was granted less time in the start thus managing only 13 appearance during his last season at the club. Totaling 99 games for the Balearic Side since 2004 he became a player of Valencia in June 2009.
During his time for the ‘Bats’ he made 12 appearances in two years. It is explained by receiving another injury during a pre-season against Manchester United. He made his La Liga debut in a game where Valencia faced Sevilla and eventually gained a comfortable 2-0 victory. Nevertheless after a series of mistakes Moyà lost the trust of the manager Unai Emery thus giving up his first-eleven position to a veteran César Sánchez. Not being able to regain stability and conquer back the place in the start Miguel decided to move to Getafe first on a season-long loan and then permanently after a solid performance for the side in 2011/12 when he made 36 appearances.
In 2014 Moya was offered to join La Liga champions, Atletico Madrid.
As an international player Miguel took the field as a part of the national youth teams of different levels. He earned the trophy of the European championship in 2002 as a part of the U-19 squad and took part in games against Italy featuring for a U-21 squad in the 2007 European Champions qualifiers.
Also Miguel was in the squad that came second in the U-20 World Cup of 2003.
