A Spanish footballer Miguel Linares Cólera plays as a centre forward for Huelva. Miguel was born on 30 September 1982 in Zaragoza, Aragon.
It was at Utebo, where Linares started his professional career. Before this had happened, he spent few years at the youth department of Fuentes. The footballer spent two seasons playing for the senior side of Utebo, since he first joined the club in 2002. He managed to display a solid performance by amassing 30 goals in 36 matches.
In 2004, the young Spanish footballer moved to Zaragoza. Many Spanish clubs were in for the forward, but he preferred to agree on a deal with Real Zaragoza. Miguel was selected for the club’s reserve team. He spent the 2004/2005 season netting two goals in 28 matches. The management wasn’t satisfied with his results. That’s why in 2005, Linares was sold to Huesca. But at a new club the situation didn’t change much. The footballer made 14 appearances and scored no goals at all.
In the summer 2006, Miguel was bought out by Barbastro. The move turned to be a fortune, as the forward managed to correct matters. Linares amassed 46 goals in 73 matches.
In the summer 2008, the forward signed for Alcoyano for a term of a season. He netted 15 goals in 35 games during the spell. In the summer 2009, a move to Salamanca happened. Miguel displayed a good performance by making 39 appearances and racking up 10 goals.
Miguel’s stability in number goals scored attracted the attention of Elche. In 2010, after all the terms had been agreed, the player joined the club’s starting eleven. His performance wasn’t as impressive as it used to be. Over the course of three seasons, he netted twelve goals in 48 games.
In the summer 2013 Linares switched for Recreativo Huelva.
