A Spanish footballer Miguel Palanca Fernández performs for Elche as a winger. Miguel was born on 18 December 1987 in Tarragona, Catalonia.
Palanca is a product of the youth system of Espanyol. In 2006, after he’d finished his formation, the footballer joined Espanyol B team. In 2007, Miguel started his performance for the club’s main squad. He made some occasional appearances both as a member of the starting eleven and as a substitute player. During his debut season, the winger established himself as a very promising footballer and, as a result, he got more playing time during the following season. In total, Palanca made 49 appearances and scored 13 goals for the B team.
In 2008, the winger’s contract was bought out by Real Madrid. Miguel joined the club’s reserve squad, where he spent the 2008/2009 season. During that period he netted five goals in 31 matches. In 2009, Palanca was promoted to the main team of Real Madrid. Hardly had he appeared five times, when he was loaned out by Castellón for a term of a season. The 2009/2010 season was lined with three balls netted in 36 matches for the temporary club.
In the summer 2010, after all the terms had been agreed, Miguel joined Elche FC. The footballer almost at once started to make frequent appearances for the club’s first eleven. His debut season for the new team was lined with more than 20 appearances made. The head coach was satisfied with the winger’s performance and the following season Palanca got enough playing time to keep in good shape. He’s already featured in more than 60 fixtures for the club.
