Mihăiţă Pleşan is a Romanian midfielder born in Moldova Nouă on 19 February 1983.
The player gave a start to his football career in FC Universitatea Craiova, where he debuted with the senior squad at the age of 18.
FC Universitatea Craiova relegated to a lower-level competition at the end of the 2004/2005 season and the footballer moved to the top-flight side FC Dinamo Bucureşti where he stayed for a year and half.
In 2006 he was invited to join FC Politehnica Timişoara, where he spent the whole season before joining FC Steaua Bucureşti in 2007. As a part of the FC Steaua first team, Mihăiţă won the silver medal of the Romanian championship and took part in UEFA Champions League fixtures.
In 2010, Pleşan signed a two-year contract with FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod and soon made his Russian Premier League debut in the fixture against FC Tom. In 2013 the player moved to Craiova.
Mihăiţă Pleşan earned 7 international caps to the Romania U21 team since 2003 till 2005. In between 2003 and 2007 he was capped to the senior Romanian side.
