Michael Simões Domingues, commonly known as simply Mika, is a Portuguese goalkeeper, born on 8 March 1991 in Yverdon, Switzerland.
Michael was formed in the youth ranks of União Leiria. In 2010, he joined the first team of the club but failed to cement his place as a regular there and made only 4 appearances as a third-choice during the season. In 2011, Domingues moved to giants Benfica. In the 2012/13 campaign he was predominantly deployed as a first-choice keeper at Benfica B in the Segunda Liga. In January 2014 Mika switched for Atletico Clube de Portugal.
In the 2010/11 season, Mika earned his first international caps to the Portugal U20 team. He was an instrumental player during the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup as his side finished as a runner-up after Brazil. Overall, he was a starter for 17 matches then.
