Milan Baroš is a striker at a Czech football club Banik Ostrava and the Czech Republic National Team. He was born on October 28, 1981 in Valašské Meziříčí, Czechoslovakia.
His career started at Baník Ostrava FC. He was announced the Talent of the Year at the Czech Footballer of the Year awards in 2000. Later the forward scored his goals for Liverpool FC and Aston Villa FC. The player experienced all the ups and downs of the sports, suffered an ankle injury but never lost his passion to the game.
In 2007 Milan Baroš joined Olympique Lyonnais, a French club playing in Ligue 1, and in January 2008 came on loan to Portsmouth FC, where the footballer did his best to help the team win the 2008 FA Cup.
In 2008 the striker put on the number 15 jersey of Istanbul football club Galatasaray and won the Turkish Süper Lig in the season of 2011/2012. After 93 matches played for the side and 48 goals scored Milan returned to his homeland and joined Banik Ostrava in 2013.
Milan Baroš is one of the first-choice players for the Czech Republic National Team.
