Milan Purović was born in 1985 in Serbia. He started his career in FC Budućnost Podgorica.
Then Purović played for FC Red Star Belgrade. Thereafter the footballer went out on loan to Sporting Clube de Portugal, Turkish Kayserispor, Hungarian Videoton, Slovenian Ljubljana and Belgian Cercle Brugge.
In 2012, Milan Purović was bought by FC Metalurh Zaporizhya. In September, he celebrated his debut in the Ukrainian Cup. In the 2012/2013 season, the centre forward played in the Premier League.
The footballer has been called up to the Montenegro national football team several times and performed in the official matches of the team.
