Mitchell Donald is a midfielder of Roda JC. He was born on 10 December 1988 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Mitchell’s career took off in youth FC Bijlmer, from where the footballer moved to the academy of A.V.V. Zeeburgia. Donald stayed with the club till 1998, when he passed a trial at Ajax.
Mitchell trained with ‘de Godenzonen’ and performed for the youth team till the summer of 2007, when he penned his first senior four-year contract with the capital side team.
Donald’s début came on 14 February 2007 in the UEFA Cup tie with Werder Bremen. The midfielder made only eight appearances and netted one goal for Ajax till January 2010, when he went on loan to Willem II. The footballer made his first appearance for the temporary team on 5 February 2010 in the 2-1 loss to NAC Breda.
In the summer 2011, Mitchell finalized a move to Roda JC and fired four goals in 31 fixtures for the club as of November 2012.
