Mohamed Soliman Homos, widely known as Homos, is a professional Egyptian footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Ismaily SC. He was born on January 1, 1979 in Il Cairo, Egypt.
As a teenager Mohamed Homos started training at the academy of Ismaily SC and 1994 till 1997 played for the junior squad of the team. In 1997 Homos made his debut as a senior footballer and gradually began to appear on the pitch more and more often, representing his club in the championships and cups of the country.
In 2000 Mohamed Homos was capped for the Egypt National Football Team and took part in a number of international cups, championships and tournaments. In the FIFA 2009 Confederations Cup he shot a goal in a group stage match against Italy, and his team celebrated the victory over the team of reigning world champions. Mohamed Homos was named Man of the Match after the game by the FIFA Technical Study Group.
