An Egyptian footballer Mohamed Ibrahim plays for El Zamalek as an attacking midfielder. Mohamed was born on 1 March 1992 in Abou El Matamer, Beheira. He’s supposed to be one of the Egyptian most talented young players. The midfielder is famous for his accurate short passes and excellent dribbling ability.
Ibrahim came from the youth ranks of Zamalek. In 2009, he debuted for the club’s senior side. His debut season for the main squad was lined with four appearances made. Nevertheless, at the start of 2011 the midfielder was considered to be one of the team’s key players.
The 2010/2011 season turned to be very important for Mohamed. He scored his debut goal in a last minute of the match with Al-Masry. That gall was chosen as the most beautiful season’s goal. By the end of the season, the midfielder caught an attention of such European giants as Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon.
The next season became far less productive, than the previous one. The sportsman got some arguments with the club’s head coach and as the result lost his place in the starting eleven. He didn’t get his place back until the arrival of the new Brazilian manager Jorvan Veira. The new head coach immediately started to use Mohamed as the member of the first team. Ibrahim helped the club to get good results in the 2012 CAF Champions League.
The 2012/2013 Egyptian Premier League failed to begin in October, which turned to be the second time when it was postponed. Due to this situation, Mohamed announced that he’d like to move to Europe and to leave El Zamalek.
On international level, Ibrahim’s performed the Egypt national youth team at U-20 and U-23 levels. The footballer played in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and in the 2012 Toulon Tournament.
