Mohammadou Idrissou is a professional Cameroonian footballer currently playing as a striker for 1. FC Kaiserslautern. He was born on March 8, 1980 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Mohammadou Idrissou’s professional career began at Racing FC Bafoussam. He stayed there till 1999, when he moved to Cotonsport Garoua. The following club the striker played for was Frankfurt FSV (2000-2001). He scored 15 goals in 18 matches there, but decided to join some other more successful club. So, in 2001 he turned into a player of Wehen SV and became one of the most dangerous forwards of the league.
From 2002 till 2006 Mohammadou Idrissou scored his goals for Hannover 96, where he took part in 60 fixtures. In 2006 the striker moved to Duisburg MSV, which was followed by Freiburg SC in 2008. He showed very impressive results there: netted 25 shots in 74 games. The talented footballer caught the eye of Borussia Mönchengladbach and the contract was signed in 2010. But in 2011 Mohammadou Idrissou signed for Eintracht Frankfurt, where he made 26 appearances and marked them with 14 goals.
Finally, in 2012 Mohammadou Idrissou signed a contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
In 2003 Mohammadou Idrissou started to play for the Cameroon national football team.
