Mounir Obbadi is a French footballer of Moroccan origin who plays as an offensive midfielder for AS Monaco. He was born on April 4, 1983 in Pontoise, France.
Mounir launched his senior career when he signed a contract with PSG in 2001. He made 47 appearances and netted 12 goals for the reserves during his three-season stay at the club. So in 2004 Obbadi was loaned out to Angers SCO. Half a year later the club completed the permanent move of the player. The influential midfielder started 86 matches and scored 19 goals while playing for Angers SCO. In 2007 Obbadi decided to ply his trade in another French club and signed a contract with Troyes AC. Being an offensive midfielder and a playmaker, Mounir was the club`s driving force. He had clocked up nearly 100 appearances and scored 10 goals for the side. In 2011 Mounir extended his spell at Stade de l’Aube until 2014 but was lured away to AS Monaco in 2013.
In 2005 he made his first and solitary appearance for Morocco.
