A Portuguese footballer Vítor Manuel Fernandes Murta plays as a goalkeeper for Oliveirense. He was born on 21 June 1979 in Vila Real.
In 1998, Murta penned his first pro contract with Vila Real, after he had graduated from the club’s academy. The goalkeeper spent 5 years playing for the main team. In total, he made 70 appearances as a starter.
In 2003, the footballer moved to Freamunde, where he was groomed during the following 3 years. He made 51 appearances for the team.
In 2005, a move to Gondomar happened. Vítor spent 3 seasons with the club, appearing 57 times as the first goalkeeper.
In the summer 2008, the player signed for Vizela, where the two seasons passed. Murta didn’t manage to clinch into the first eleven, featuring in 27 club’s fixtures during the spell.
In 2010, the goalkeeper was scouted by Gil Vicente. He signed a contract and became the team’s member. After three years with the club Murta moved to Oliveirense.
