A Georgian footballer Murtaz Daushvili plays as a midfielder for Karpaty Lviv. He was born on 1 May 1989 in Georgia.
Murtaz spent his junior career at the academy of Tbilisi, where he got ready to perform at the senior level. In 2004, he signed his first professional contract with DinamoTbilisi and performed for the reserve team.
In 2005, Daushvili joined Zestafoni, the top division side in Georgian football. The team’s head coach gave him enough playing time to practice. In total,during his 6-year spell at the club the footballer scored 10 goals in 128 matches.
In 2012, Murtaz became the member of Lviv, but he made no appearances at all and in few months was loaned to Karpaty Lviv. The midfielder had a lot of successful runs with the temporary team, that’s why the club’s management insisted on his staying with the squad on permanent basis. In the summer 2012, Daushvili’s contract was bought out and he became the official member of the Green-Whites.
His international career started in 2005, when he took part in 2 matches for the Georgia U-17 team. He also performed for the national youth team at U-19 and U-21 levels. In 2008, Murtaz earned his first cap for the Georgia national squad.
