Fernando Macedo da Silva Rodilla, also known as Nano, is a Spanish footballer who plays for CA Osasuna operating as a left winger. He was born in a Spanish city of La Coruña, Galicia on April 20, 1982.
Aged 16 he was seen as a promising midfielder while he performed for Barcelona B. He made his debut in La Liga against Zaragoza when Fernando was aged only 17. However his progress got stumped and the manager trusted him no more than only three more appearances in the main squad.
Having left Barcelona Nano moved to Atlético Madrid in 2003 and after one season of a solid performance at the highest level his career declined abruptly. As a result he was sent on loan to Getafe in 2005 where rested unused most of the time and in 2006 he moved to Cádiz in the Segunda where he received insignificantly more playing time.
Before signing with his current club Osasuna in 2012 Nano spent one Segunda B campaign with Racing de Ferrol and then switched to Numancia where he would spend three successful seasons.
