Nathan Baker is a defender of Aston Villa. He was born on 23 April 1991 in Worcester, England.
In 2004 the footballer joined the academy of Aston Villa and perfected his skills at the training ground of the club during five years. Nathan also participated in the youth championship with various junior squads of ‘Villans’.
In 2009 Baker reached the certain level of skill, when he could expect an invitation to the main team, which eventually came the same year. The footballer penned his first contract with Aston Villa and went on a season-long loan to Lincoln City, where he made 18 appearances. After the end of his spell, the defender stayed in his parent club for a year, which helped him to adapt to the new surroundings.
In the summer 2011, Nathan completed a move on loan to Millwall and had to spend most of the time on the substitutes’ bench, which could not satisfy the young footballer who wanted to feature in as many games as possible.
From 2008 till 2011, Baker was capped 13 times for the England national U-19 and U-20 teams. From 2011, the footballer took part in three matches of the England national U-21 squad.
