Midfielder Ignacio Insa Bohigues was born in 1986 in Cocentaina, Spain.
He is a Valencia CF’s youth system graduate. Natxo made his senior debut for the first team in a friendly game against Fenerbahçe S.K. in July 2006. But the major part of his first professional season he spent with B team, playing in the third division.
His first official appearance for the main team came in December 2006, when Insa featured as a substitute in a UEFA Champions League group stage 0-1 loss at A.S. Roma.
In June 2007 he featured in his first La Liga match, playing during the last six minutes of a 3–3 draw against Real Sociedad.
The 2007/08 season Insa spent on loan to SD Eibar, the second division side. That season Eibar was relegated and Insa joined Villarreal CF. He spent the first season with the reserve team playing in division two.
From 2011 to 2013 Insa played for Celta Vigo. In August 2013 he moved to a Turkish outfit Antalyaspor.
