Ânderson Miguel da Silva is a striker for Cagliari. He was born on 28 July, 1983 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Ânderson’s professional career started in 2003 after he signed his first professional contract with São Bento. During the season the young footballer periodically appeared in the starting lineup. From 2004 to 2006 Anderson changed a large number of clubs, not staying anywhere for more than six months. During that period Nenê played for Guaçuano, Riachuelo, Boca Júnior, América-SP, Confiança and Santa Cruz.
In 2007 Ânderson Miguel da Silva signed a permanent contract with Cruzeiro. During the 2007/08 season, Nenê featured in 12 matches and scored 2 goals. In January 2008 Nenê was loaned to Ipatinga, where he established himself as a key forward and netted 9 goals in 29 matches.
In the summer of 2008 the Brazilian striker signed for Nacional. The 2008/09 season became the best season of Nenê’s career so far.
Nenê scored 20 goals in 28 matches and drew the attention of several top European clubs. Italian side Cagliari won the race for the Brazilian striker and signed him on a long-term contract in the summer of 2009. At the moment Ânderson successfully plays for the club as a regular striker, having scored 15 goals in 78 appearances for 3 seasons.
