Anderson Luiz de Carvalho (Nenê) – is a winger of Qatari side Al-Gharafa. He was born in the Brazilian city of Jundiaí.
Nenê began his youth football career in 1996 playing for Bahía where the footballer stayed for a year until he moved to Sporting CP academy. At the new academy he spent also only one year. In 1998 he joined Corinthians academy and in a year the winger started his senior career.
In 1999 the football player signed his first professional contract with Paulista for which he played over a period of two seasons. In two years Nenê made 32 appearances and scored 26 goals.
From 2001 till 2002 a Brazilian footballer represented Palmeiras. With that club he featured in 24 matches and netted 5 goals.
From 2002 till 2003 the winger played for Santos FC from the Campeonato Paulista. Fairly often Nenê came on the field in the starting lineup. The footballer participated in 22 matches and scored 8 goals for the club.
In 2003 Carvalho moved to Spain and joined RCD Mallorca where for a season he was the member of the major squad. A Brazilian player appeared in 29 matches scoring 2 goals.
In 2004 Anderson played for Alavés in Segunda División B. During two seasons the winger was a key player taking part in 78 games and netted 21 goals.
In 2006 Nenê moved to another Spanish club Celta Vigo for which he played during the 2006/07 season. In a year the footballer turned into the team’s major player and participated in 38 matches scoring 8 goals.
In the 2007/08 season Carvalho made his AS Monaco FC debut. He quickly entered the team and became an active participant in club’s matches.
In 2008 Anderson was given out on loan to Spanish RCD Espanyol. The footballer tried to do his best and eventually the head coach entrusted the winger with the place in the first team for the whole season. In a year the football player featured in 35 matches and netted 4 goals.
In 2010 the winger moved to Paris Saint-Germain FC. He has worked flat out and proved his commitment to the club. From 2010 Nenê played in 112 matches scoring 48 goals for the club. Nevertheless, after the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lucas Moura Nene had to search for a new club and it was Qatari side Al-Gharafa that signed the Brazilian.
In 2003 Anderson Luiz de Carvalho featured for the Brazil national U-20 football team.
