Nicholas Bignall is a striker of Reading. He was born on 11 July 1990 in Reading, England.
In 2006 Nicholas got to a trial at the academy of the local club after he drew the attention of its scouts, and took part in a demonstration game, which was the first part of the trial. The second part was to pass several specialized tests, which were aimed at identifying the level of the footballer’s professional qualification. Bignall completed the both parts successfully and officially became a trainee of Reading. It took him two years to develop into a senior player.
In 2008 Nicholas penned a contract with the club and went on a six-month loan to Northampton Town the same year. Bignall made five appearances and netted one goal. From January 2009 till January 2011, the footballer performed on loan at Cheltenham Town, Stockport County, Southampton and Bournemouth, and made 32 appearances for all temporary clubs.
At the beginning of 2011, Nicholas was sent on loan to Brentford, took part in six matches and left for Exeter City. The young Englishman featured only in three games for the new temporary club and joined Wycombe Wanderers, where he ended the 2011/2012 season. Later the footballer went back to his parent Reading.
