Nicola Pozzi is a striker of Sampdoria football club. He was born on 30 June 1986 in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy.
In January 2004, top-flight club AC Milan bought the Italian from then-Serie C club Cesena. However, Nicola was immediately loaned to Napoli and Pescara. In 2005, Pozzi joined Empoli. In December 2007, he made a furor scoring four goals in 4-1 win over Cagliari. But unfortunately, in February 2008 the Italian seriously damaged his knee in the fixture against Napoli and had to miss the 2008 Olympic tournament and six months of training.
In the summer 2009 Nicola Pozzi was loaned to Sampdoria. In July 2010 the Blucerchiati decided to sign the player on a permanent basis. In January 2013 Nicola was sent on loan to struggling Siena until the end of the season.
Between 2006 and 2009, Nicola Pozzi made 8 appearances for the Italy national U-21 team.
