Nicolai Boilesen is a Danish football player who was born on 16 January 1992 in the city of Ballerup. Boilesen started his playing career in a local team Ballerup. In 2004 Boilesen joined the professional club Brøndby IF, where he played on a position of a central defender.
In 2010 after the contract with Brøndby expired, the player moved to Netherlands, signing a deal with Ajax. Scouts of several European clubs were following the girted player, yet he decided to follow the advice of his friend Christian Eriksen and to join Ajax. He debuted for the side on 3 April 2011 in the game against Heracles Almelo.
Boilesen debuted in the Denmark national u-17 team in 2007, totaling 38 games for various youth national teams.
