Nicolás Gorobsov is an Argentinean midfielder of Russian descent who currently represents Torino F.C. He also holds an Italian passport.
Nicolás was born on November 25, 1989 in San Pedro, Argentina. When the boy turned 14, his family moved to Italy due to the recession in his homeland. It was there that the youngster started out his football journey. At the age of 16 Gorobsov joined Vicenza`s youth system. He featured on the wings in his maiden year before returning to his position of a central midfielder.
In 2007 Nicolás put pen-to-paper on his first full-time deal with Vicenza. He made 16 appearances across 3 years with the team. However he failed to blast any goals.
In 2009 Torino secured 50 percent of Gorobsov`s contract for €100,000 plus Saša Bjelanović. On August 31, 2010 Torino opted to send out the intelligent midfielder on loan to Cesena so he could gain experience. He then moved on loan to Politehnica Timişoara on September 5, 2011. The player settled immediately with a number of solid performances. By the start of the 2012/2013 season Gorobsov returned to Torino.
