A French footballer of Guadeloupe descent Nicolas Isimat-Mirin plays at the position of central defender for Monaco.
The player’s career started in 2004 at the Clairefontaine academy where he studied until 2007. After Nicolas’ graduation from the academy he was immediately won to the Rennes side. A young defender joined the Rennes training center in 2007. Having spent two years with that club he decided to move to Valenciennes. He made his club debut on 28 April 2010 in the league match against Bordeaux.
Nicolas signed a three-year professional contract with Valenciennes on 19 October 2010 and in the ensuing year on 8 September he agreed to the contract extension for one year.
