Niklas Hult is a midfielder who currently plays for Elfsborg. He was born on 13 February 1990 in Värnamo, Sweden.
In his teenage years Niklas joined IFK Värnamo. He played for the youth squad, before signing a professional agreement with the club in 2008. From 2008 to 2009 Hult registered 20 appearances for the first team. Despite his early age, Niklas managed to gain the head coach’s confidence and become a first-team regular in his debut season at IFK Värnamo.
In 2009 the midfielder signed for Elfsborg. Since 2009 he has featured in over 70 matches and netted more than 10 goals for the side.
In 2007 Niklas made his debut for the Sweden U17 squad. From 2008 to 2009 he participated in 8 games for the U19 team, later being called up to the Sweden U21 outfit for 13 matches. In 2012 Hult debuted for the senior national team.
