Nikola Ignjatijević is a professional Serbian footballer currently playing as a defender for Zorya Luhansk FC. He was born on December 12, 1983 in Požarevac, SFR Yugoslavia.
Nikola Ignjatijević’s youth career ran at Crvena Zvezda Beograd FK and from 2001 the footballer participated in matches of the junior squad.
In 2002 the defender signed for Jedinstvo Ub FK and his professional career began. He appeared in 81 fixtures of the club and netted 2 goals.
In 2005 Nikola Ignjatijević joined Javor Ivanjica FK, then played for Zemun FK and Napredak Kruševac FK till his return to Javor Ivanjica FK in 2008.
In 2009 Nikola Ignjatijević returned to Crvena Zvezda Beograd FK, this time as an experienced player. Together with his team the footballer became the runner-up in the Serbian SuperLiga in the season of 2009/2010 and the winner of the Serbian Cup in 2010.
In 2011 Nikola Ignjatijević was loaned to Politehnica Timişoara FC (Romania), but had to leave it 6 months later because of some financial problems the club had.
In 2012 the Serbian footballer signed a contract with Zorya Luhansk FC.
