Nikola Mijailović was born in Zemun(Serbia) on 12 February 1987.
The player started his career in the youth squad of FC Obilić. Later he joined FC Zemun, but was soon transferred to FC Železnik, spent some time on loans at lower leagues’ clubs gaining experience and became a regular first-team member with the club.
In 2004 the player was bought by FC Wisła Kraków, where he later became the young footballer of the year, despite a red card received in one of the fixtures.
In 2005 he had some legal issues and was moved to the reserve squad. Later he passed trial with the French side FC Metz, but failed to switch clubs. He was soon able to return to the first-team, but due to multiple injuries and continuous misbehavior the club decided to terminate his contract in 2007.
In 2008 Mijailovic signed contract with FC Khimki, but moved to FC Red Star Belgrade after just five games. His next club was FC Korona Kielce, which he joined in 2009 and received the captain’s armband some time later in 2010.
In 2011 Nikola moved to FC Amkar, where he received the No.3 shirt.
