Nikolče Noveski is a Macedonian player, born on 28 April 1979 in Bitola.
The central defender began his career in FC Pelister Bitola. In 1998, the 19-year-old player left the Macedonian First League club and moved to the German Hansa Rostock. There Nikolče performed in the first team only once, then he joined Erzgebirge Aue, where the player appeared in 92 games in three seasons and netted ten goals. In October 2004 the footballer moved to Mainz, which played in the Bundesliga. There he met with success. The top clubs were fighting in the attempt of scouting the player, but in the 2006/2007 season Nikolče extended his contract with Mainz, which at that moment was no more in the first division. Noveski has won the hearts of fans, has held 242 matches for the team and has scored ten goals. Later on, the footballer extended his contract with the club once again, this time until June 2013.
It is worth noting, that on 19 November 2005 Noveski had bad luck in the match against Eintracht. In the first six minutes of the game, during 132 seconds, he scored accidentally two own goals. However, he managed to net one goal, thus having scored an unusual hat-trick. In total, the player scored six own goal in his career.
For the Macedonian national team Noveski has played 46 international matches and scored two goals.
