Nils Röseler is a defender of Twente. He was born on 10 February 1992 in Bad Bentheim, Germany.
Nils’s career took off in a small local club, where he was noticed by Dutch side Twente scouts. After moving to the Netherlands, Röseler joined the academy of the new club and trained to become a central defender during eight years. At the beginning of 2011, the German footballer was asked to move to the main team of Twente and made his senior début on 14 December 2011 in the Europa League qualifier against Polish side Wisła Kraków, which ended in a 2-1 defeat for his squad. Several months later, on 19 February 2012, Nils made his first Eredivisie appearance in the 4-1 victory over Vitesse. The footballer featured in eight matches during two seasons, but did not manage to score.
In 2012, Nils was sent on loan to VVV-Venlo.
The defender received his first call-up to the Germany national U-18 team on 14 December 2009 in the game versus Hungary, which ended in a 6-3 win. Röseler has been capped eight times for his national youth squad as of October 2012.
