Nuno Lopes is a defender of Beira-Mar. He was born on 19 December 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Nuno’s youth career started in 1995 when he joined the U-11 team of Oriental. During three years at the academy he also spent two years in the U-13 team before he was noticed by the Moscavide scouts. In 1999 Lopes moved to the academy of Moscavide where he immediately joined the U-15 team. He was trained at the academy for two years and became one of its best products. In 2002 the footballer completed a move to the academy of Alverca where he finished his youth career in 2005.
In the summer 2005 the young defender sealed a deal with Sintrense where he spent only a year. In the 2006/2007 season Dias moved to England signing for Lewes. However in the summer 2007 the young defender returned to Portugal because only there he could unlock his potential to the full extent. Operário signed an agreement with him under which Lopes played for this club for two years. During this period the Portuguese footballer often appeared in the starting line-up becoming one of the best defenders.
In 2009 Nuno penned a contract with Boavista where he spent one season before Oliveirense signed a permanent deal with him. During a year and a half Lopes was a regular starter and his performances became more professional and solid which attracted the attention of Beira-Mar. The football player decided to change his club that’s why he immediately sealed a long-term deal with this Portuguese side. Nowadays Lopes finished another season with Beira-Mar which retained a place in the Portugal Primeira Liga for the next season.
